What digital forehead thermometer should I buy?
I want to buy a forehead digital thermometer for my daughter, but I know some brands are significantly more accurate than others. I’m looking for a good one. Thanks!

According to a 2005 article in Consumer Reports, "The bottom line. A digital oral thermometer is the best choice for an adult or a child. The best in our tests was the BD Digital Accu-Beep, $10." For a forehead thermometer, they did give a "good" rating to the Exergen Temporal Scanner 2000c, which they say costs $50.
I’d suggest you also check with your pediatrician or your pharmacist.

I bought a Graco one at Wal-mart. Works just fine,takes about 10 seconds to get a reading.
I’d get an in-ear one and i’d ask your local pharmacist. They will be able to help you.
I have the Exergen Temporal scanner. Very fast, very accurate. I have an ear thermometer that I check it against too.
